Peterlabs Holdings Bhd, a Malaysian manufacturer of animal health products, dropped on its debut on the Kuala Lumpur stock exchange.

The stock slid 8.3 per cent to 27.5 sen at 9:20 a.m. local time.

KNM, Zecon rally on US$5.9b projects

KNM Group Bhd rose the most in seven months and Zecon Bhd rallied after agreeing with Gulf Asian Petroleum Bhd to undertake engineering and building projects valued at about US$5.9 billion.

KNM advanced 8.6 per cent to RM1.90 at 9:04 a.m. local time in Kuala Lumpur trading, set for the steepest gain since Dec. 15.

Zecon jumped 25 per cent to 60 sen, the most since July 20, 2010. -- Bloomberg
