Petronas Gas falls to 8-year low Posted: 18 Sep 2011 06:30 PM PDT Petronas Gas Bhd, a Malaysian gas distributor, fell the most in more than eight years in Kuala Lumpur trading after rallying to a record last week. The stock slid 6.5 percent to RM13.72 at 9:20 a.m. local time, set for its steepest drop since January 2003. It surged 8.7 percent to a record on Sept. 15, raising its 14-day relative strength index to 74, above the 70 level considered by some traders as a sell signal. The shares climbed last week after JPMorgan Chase & Co said the Malaysian gas distributor will gain from rising infrastructure spending in Southeast Asia. -- Bloomberg |
