Posted: 16 Sep 2011 11:30 PM PDT Disrupted Keretapi Tanah Melayu Bhd (KTMB) train services to the north have resumed after the damaged track structure between the Sungai Buloh and Rawang stations were repaired, KTMB said today. The repairs were completed at 9 am today and all train services, including Komuter, ETS, Intercity and cargo, had returned to normal, the KTMB Corporate Communications Unit said in a statement. The damage to the track structure at Km366.5 was detected on Wednesday. KTMB said trains could run five to 10 minutes behind schedule as they would have to slow down at the repaired section of the tracks. It apologised to commuters for the inconvenience they experienced during the repairs and said enquiries could be directed to the KTMB call centre at 1-300-88-5862 between 9 am and 10 pm. - Bernama |
