Fernandes offer for West Ham rejected Posted: 01 Jun 2011 06:41 PM PDT West Ham United PLC joint chairman David Sullivan said an approach by AirAsia Bhd chief executive officer Tony Fernandes to buy a stake in the English soccer club has been "immediately rejected." "He has announced this on Twitter and people can draw their own conclusions as to the seriousness of it from that," Sulivan said in a statement on the club's website. "We are not looking to sell the club, but, as we have always said, we would love co-investors to join us in rebuilding West Ham United."
