| Scomi, partners ink monorail pact in Brazil Posted: 01 Aug 2011 06:07 PM PDT Scomi Engineering Bhd and its partners signed an agreement with the Sao Paulo Metropolitan Co to build a monorail system in Brazil, according to a company statement last night. Scomi Engineering gained 5.5 per cent to 86 sen at 9:03 a.m. local time, set for the largest gain since June 6. | Pulai Springs surges to 30-month high Posted: 01 Aug 2011 06:25 PM PDT Pulai Springs Bhd, a Malaysian hotel operator and developer, jumped to a 30-month high in Kuala Lumpur trading after receiving a buyout offer at RM1.18 a share from Swift Redeem Sdn Bhd.
