Kim Loong jumps after tripling Q2 profit Posted: 02 Oct 2011 06:39 PM PDT Kim Loong Resources Bhd, a Malaysian palm oil and cocoa producer, rose the most in two months after it said fiscal second-quarter profit almost tripled to RM33.3 million. The stock climbed 2.6 percent to RM2.01 at 9:31 a.m. local time, set for its steepest gain since July 27. -- Bloomberg
