| BAT raised to 'outperform' at Credit Suisse Posted: 09 Oct 2011 06:39 PM PDT British American Tobacco (Malaysia) Bhd, the nation's biggest cigarette maker, rose after the stock was upgraded at Credit Suisse Group AG, which said the government's move to refrain from raising tobacco taxes is "good news." The stock climbed 1.1 percent to RM43.98 at 9:20 a.m. Kuala Lumpur time, set for its steepest gain since Sept. 28.
