Banting murders: Accused failed to show up Posted: 12 Oct 2011 11:00 PM PDT KLANG: Accused N. Pathmanabhan was supposed to meet a friend the night Datuk Sosilawati Lawiya and three others were allegedly murdered but had failed to show up due to "some incomplete work". His friend, Mohamad Jamil Mohamad Hassan, 79, said they were supposed to meet up for dinner but Pathmanabhan said he could not make it. He told the High Court that Pathmanabhan only came to see him in Subang Jaya at 10pm on Aug 30.
Earlier, judge Datuk Akhtar Tahir ruled the police statement allegedly made by K. Sarawanan would not be allowed to be used for impeachment proceedings by the prosecution. |

It said in a statement that the quake, which occurred at 11.16 am, struck the south of the island, 154km southwest of Denpasar and 1,350km southeast of Kuching, Sarawak. -- BERNAMA |
