Tenaga rises on pact with Malakoff Posted: 04 Dec 2011 05:06 PM PST Tenaga Nasional Bhd, rose to its highest level in almost three weeks in Kuala Lumpur trading after signing a 25-year agreement to buy electricity from Malakoff Corp's Tanjung Bin power plant when completed in 2016. The stock rose 1.4 percent to RM5.72 at 9:12 a.m. local time, set for its highest close since Nov. 16. Tenaga also agreed to sell Malakoff coal for the plant, the company said in a statement.-- Bloomberg |
