Muhyiddin, who is Education Minister, said the implementation of the system was an important move towards putting in place a systematic assessment of students' abilities. The system is an improvement to the Ujian Penilaian Sekolah Rendah (UPSR) and Penilaian Menengah Rendah (PMR) examination-based assessment system. It will be implemented from Year 1 and Form One starting next year.
"Through information collected during the assessment process, teachers and the school will be able to give constructive feedback and take follow-up steps to ensure students are able to work on overcoming their weaknesses," he said when launching a book on the school-based assessment system at Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 7, here today. - BERNAMA Air your comment on this issue: Full Feed Generated by Get Full RSS, sponsored by USA Best Price.School-based assessment to address dropout problem: DPMLog in with your Facebook account or use the form below to comment.
